Nowadays it is difficult to find the right offer among the plethora of offers on the Internet. The customer needs to be won over with a gripping description of the offer. But how do I formulate a gripping, brief yet informative description? How do I stand out from the competition? Quite simply by reading the tips below 😊
There are many ways to write the description of an offer. It is important to structure it well and include all the necessary information.
Of course, you will have customers who search your site specifically and that you may know that you have a corresponding offer. But also assume that you want to attract new customers with your offer.
In edoobox, a lot of information is summarized in the Design Manager under the template offer details. Here you have the option of adding important points that edoobox draws from your offer to the offer, which already shortens the length of the description and gives the user a good overview.
Subdivide your description text and give it subtitles. In addition, add further points to the description that describe your offer in more detail. Of course, not all points should be used if they are not relevant to you.
Win over your customers with a short text. Do you already have experience in...? Are you interested in...? This course offers you the opportunity to...
What is special about your offer? Are there special speakers or is the location exceptionally beautiful? You may want to use bullet points so that the user can quickly grasp the most important points.
Describe the intended process (if not already defined in the offer)
Course content: What is offered in the course
Target price: What is the target price?
In which language will your offer be carried out
Do your customers have to fulfill requirements? Explain these in detail. Do participants need to have previous knowledge or is another course or similar required? Provide links to any advanced courses in this area
Provide a link with photos that advertise the course particularly well, or add them directly to the appropriate sections. Moving images such as videos are of course also an advantage.
Is the journey individual or predetermined? Are parking spaces available? Is your venue easily accessible by public transport?
Is it possible to leave as a group or after a certain time?
If accommodation is offered (e.g. as an additional service), enter its link. If information on allergies or specific diets is required, obtain this information in advance so that it can be forwarded to the hotel/restaurant. You can already find this out in the registration form with the additional data fields.
Do you need to take special items with you that cannot be rented or purchased on site? Point out if it is also possible to buy or rent equipment from you or offer this via the additional services in the booking process.
Do you have special conditions if a participant cancels the booking?
Are there any further offers for this course that are available to the participant afterwards? Also link to these so that the customer can find out about them in advance
Always bear in mind that the customer has little or no information about your offer and formulate the description in detail, but not in such a way that you overwhelm the reader.
A clearly visible login button is the be-all and end-all. Preferably in a bright color, large (the user should be able to click on the button without any problems. Place the button at the top and bottom of the page so that it catches the eye and the user does not have to search for it. Colors such as black, white or grey should be avoided. Also use a color that is not visible anywhere else on your website. It should also be the first thing that catches the eye on all devices to encourage the call to action (to cause a reaction or encourage an immediate sale). But also make sure that the button is not the only thing visible when viewed on a smartphone. Never use more than two call-to-action buttons, as too many options could be a deterrent.
Add the social widget, such as Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn, and use the Google Maps widget to show the exact location of your offer.
The Lessons/modules overview widget shows a list of all lessons/modules that are included in this offer, here you can also determine what should or should not be displayed.
Advertise your voucher sale using the voucher sale button. When this is clicked, the customer is redirected to a page where they can buy any value voucher / gift voucher.
1. edoobox also gives you the option of working with tabs or accordions to subdivide your description.
2. This is the information that the edoobox booking system draws from the details you have entered in the offer. You can select and arrange these yourself. This means that they no longer need to be mentioned in the text.
3. The social widgets that you can store.
4. The login button! Very important and indispensable! Whether large or small, bright or in a subtle color, the main thing is that it is seen!
5. The Google Maps which visualize the event location for your customers.
6. Modules / lessons from this offer
Would you like to use our template? Here you will find the source code for the upper design, which you can use in your offer detail page. Copy the code below into the source code of your offer description text.
Write in the same language, i.e. use terms that your target group understands. For example, technical terms for specialists and industry experts or simple terms for a borrower. Write multi-faceted, informative and helpful content. Describe your offer as well as the different topics you deal with in your offer, their area of application and the different training opportunities.
Take the notepad you created at the beginning and make a note of the points above that are important for your offer and are not yet stored in the edoobox.
Once you have written your text, check again whether you have mentioned all the UPSs, whether the possible search terms have been entered and whether all the necessary information is included.
And finally, test your blog post for SEO (search engine optimization) with this link. Use the URL of the offer which you can find in the Voschau - Share.
Here you will find the link to our subscriptions. From Limited 2, the DesignManager is included as a function.
Tip
Graba pen and paper and write down your USP's (Unique Selling Proposition = the outstanding features of your service/offer). Think about which keywords your customers will use to search? What is your added value? Why should the customer choose you?
