In the main navigation under Admins you will find the overview of administrators, the tabular representation and your own profile. In the submenu item "Table" you can enter as many additional administrators and leaders as you like. Store them in a specific offer, so that the interested parties can already see before the registration with whom what will take place.

Create new admin/leader

To create a new admin, click on "New Admin" in the "Table" submenu item and fill in the fields that are necessary for you. Salutation, first name, last name and e-mail address should be set as a minimum, otherwise the password forget function will not work, should it be used by the corresponding person.

In order for the admin to use the login, a password must be set when creating it.

Two-factor authentication

One or more two-factor authentications can be enabled in each user account. This will prompt for a second authentication after a successful login with the password.

The following authentications can be activated:

  • Phone / Mobile: A code is sent to the user via SMS or call. The cost is usually between 0.01 and 0.06 per SMS/call, which will be charged to the edoobox account.
  • Our recommendation: Google Authenticator (free to use): The app (Android and Apple) on the cell phone continuously generates new codes, which must be entered when logging in. (Instructions from Google https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1066447)
  • Our recommendation: Yubikey (use free of charge + one-time costs for acquisition of a YubiKey): The user has to transmit the YubiKey via USB Key during the login process. (Information about the Yubikey: yubico.com)
  • Back-up codes (free of charge): edoobox generates a set of back-up codes that can be used once to log in. Back-up codes are kept by you in a safe place. They provide the only way to restore log-in to edoobox in case YubiKey or other 2FA options are broken or lost.

The two-factor authentication can be added in the corresponding admin by clicking on "Edit". If you have multiple authentications active, you can select one during login.

All keywords must meet the following conditions: at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one special character and one number.

The rights

Here you have two already predefined rights at your disposal. The Super Admin and the limited rights:

  • Superadmin rights: This person can change all settings and manually enter new administrators as well as participants and offers.
  • Limited rights: This person has very limited functions and therefore cannot change or enter anything. He/she only sees offers for which he/she is entered as leader/speaker (if this person has not been entered in any offer, he/she sees all offers) and can view and print the participant list/present list for these offers. With this option, you can additionally define whether the leaders should also receive e-mail notifications. If this option is active, the leaders will also be informed about changes.

Own authorization groups

Both administrator rights can be edited and personalized or can be extended by a permission group. The following options are available:

  • Read, write and delete
  • Reading and writing
  • Read
  • Writing
  • No rights

Create additional permission groups and assign them to users. Leave the two predefined permission groups.

Utilization / Outgoing mail

For each admin/leader you also have the option to view the respective outbox of the person (not the general outbox of the entire account) and the workload of the admin/leader. From when to when was this admin/leader deposited/enrolled for how long and where exactly? This is helpful if, for example, you want to create a detailed accounting should you need to pay the admins/leaders something. The workload can be exported.

Also you have the possibility in edoobox to send a self-written mail to the admin. To do this, go to the desired administrators and click on "Mail to Admin".

Here you also have the possibility to define the sender yourself.
