The new " Cancellation & Right of Withdrawal " feature is now available in edoobox. This feature allows you to centrally manage cancellation policies, automatically apply them to bookings, and ensure that the right of withdrawal is taken into account during the booking process.
One of the reasons for this is the new electronic cancellation feature: Under the new Section 356a of the German Civil Code (BGB), which takes effect on June 19, 2026, canceling contracts concluded online is intended to be just as straightforward as concluding the contract itself. Affected providers will then be required to provide a clearly visible and easily accessible cancellation feature.
With the new edoobox feature, you can define different cancellation groups, such as for standard quotes, quotes paid for online, or custom quote types. For each group, you can set specific rules, deadlines, fees, and cancellation settings.

For the new logic to take effect, you must enable the " Rules " mode there. You can then create cancellation policies, set a default group, and review your offers accordingly.
